2018 Season Starts with first day of Dante Festival

York welcomed back racegoers for the opening day of the 2018 season with day one of the Dante Festival. Highlights of the day were The Duke of York Clipper Logistics Stakes being won by the Godolphin owned Harry Angel,trained by Clive Cox and ridden by Adam Kirby.

Give and Take then took top honours in the Tattesalls Musidora group Three, one of two winners for William Haggas, and ridden by James Doyle. Richard Fahey was not to be outdone though with three winners on the day for him.
